I am very fortunate, been living a great life for years now. It’s so good for me to see a quote like this one from Mr. Emerson. I know all the language to sound like I’m living in a positive, surrendered, loving state. But I can’t talk away what my actions are. If I’m humble and loving and giving, it shows. If I love myself I can see it in the mirror. No matter what I say.

1. Having followed the suggestion to write a gratitude list for years now.
2. Knowing the importance of community, of laughing in my sisters presence, of hugging someone when we’re done praying… how good it feels to sit at my dining room table and watch my friends and family enjoy the food I made with relish and right, good thanks.
3. Experiencing that community and using a blog to connect with people in addition to that.
4. What ever you focus on expands.
5. Deliberate focus.
6. My recovery is so precious to me.
